The hotel and service was otherwise lovely, however I left some products in the hotel room accidentally. I called shortly after check-out and they replied that they have thrown them in the trash and did not apologize for the incident. Especially for a smaller independent hotel, I believe it would have been worth it going the extra mile, of at the very least keeping the products for a few days, or notifying the customer. I see this is bad customer service, which is unfortunate that this left a bad taste in my mouth after we had a pleasant stay.
